Why use it?

Those who are chronically late often set their clocks a bit fast in order to trick themselves into acting if it were later than it actually is. This is nonsense. Since you set your clock fast - you know exactly how far ahead you set it - and you continue to be late.

So why not introduce a bit of randomness in your life? Set the offsets from true time, both fast and slow, and iRandomTime's patent pending algorithm prevents you from gaming yourself by displaying a random time between your chosen offsets.

Example

Set your offsets to be, say, at maximum, 5 minutes fast and 3 minutes slow. At a (true time) of 2:00 pm, iRandomTime might display any one of: 1:57 pm, 1:58 pm, 1:59 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:01 pm, 2:02 pm, 2:03 pm, 2:04 pm, 2:05 pm.

What time is it exactly? You don't know. Paradoxically, since you don't know, you are forced to be punctual.
