Ceramic art,
Allegoric of our traditional cultural, manifestation to preserve
and keep alive the identity and the history of our people. Forged
with a unique style rich in detail, symbols and images emerged from
the mixture of the America pre-Colombian from colonized America
that with a huge impetus got merged.
The union of
the cultural identities pre-Colombian and the Hispanic inspired
the ceramic creations and the make of our artisan that with their
hands create an art of expressions.
Technics of
forming models by hand made with terracotta, with infusions of pigments,
natural oxides, engobes, vinyls and metallic,
like gold and silver. Ceramic art is a product of the designs born
in Cuenca, Ecuador by Mauro Phazan, who actually lives and work
in Cali, Colombia, in a neighborhood called San Antonio, traditional
place and meeting point of the local artists.
