Definition
of dental implants
It is to replace a missing tooth for another one
similar to the original, by means of a system that acts like a natural
root, giving safe and effective support to an artificial tooth.
This is a simple procedure, and it is carried out in two steps:

When the dental implant joins to the bone, the second
stage proceeds: the permanent crown is made on metal-porcelain
and ready to be cemented.

These screws
made by biocompatible materials join to the oral tissues without
producing any secondary effect. After the first stage, it is necessary
to wait the implant to osseo integrate for about 4 to 6 months.
During this period a new temporary tooth is left while the existent
one is conditioned. With this, the patient won't suffer any interruption
in the social activities.
